Physicians for Transcendental Meditation (PTM)
INVITATION TO MEMBERSHIP IN GLOBAL NETWORK OF TM-PRACTICING PHYSICIANS
Dear Colleague,
You are hereby invited as a free member of PTM, a global network of physicians for TM.
Physicians, being a qualified professional group, commonly have a high societal status all over the world. This gives us a possibility to influence the public opinion especially if we cooperate.
As a member of PTM, you could contribute importantly to the public recognition of the great societal value of Transcendental Meditation.
PTM was started in Sweden by seven physicians with 20-34 years of personal experience of TM. The undersigned is the chairman of this group. We created a reference group and wrote a statement endorsing TM that was published at our website.
Now the website has been translated to English, found at URL http://home.swipnet.se/tmdoctors/ptm.htm
We are now inviting TM-practicing physicians all over the world to join. We consider improving and extending the statement in cooperation with physicians from all over the world. If you agree with our statement, you are invited to join as a member of the reference group.
PTM is, at this stage, meant to be an informal network for uniting TM-practicing physicians all over the world. Our first goal is to make our statement known to media in all world countries.
