“Early Detection Not Enough”
New Book Advocates Full-Fledged Cancer Prevention
Just released by publisher Selectbooks of New York ( www.selectbooks.com ), "The Answer to Cancer" by Hari Sharma, M.D., and Rama K. Mishra, G.A.M.S., with James G. Meade, Ph.D., takes a fresh approach to the most troubling disease of our age. "When medicine speaks of 'prevention,' it mainly is speaking of early detection, which -- if you think about it -- isn't cancer prevention at all," announces the book's opening chapter. These authors have more sweeping intentions.
The work offers a cradle-to-grave, 24-hour, easy and natural approach for averting the disease before it ever takes hold. Denouncing the microwave and the Snickers bar, it upholds the sunrise walk and periods of deep rest through Transcendental Meditation.
Hari Sharma is a pre-eminent author, scientist and researcher. His scientific studies on free radicals and food supplements are widely circulated. Author Rama K. Mishra is a traditional Ayurvedic Vaidya (physician) who has practiced in both India and America for over 30 years. Writer James Meade is a popularizer (a pioneer of the famous Dummies series and author of 25 books.)
